Thanks Adrian! It is a photo of an area below very old bridge,built by the Britishers. It is called Fernandes’ Bridge. On both sides, sellers of old books line up there wares.It was a rainy season when I took this photo.
As it turns out. It wasn’t named after my friends g’father. But somehow he was related to them, at that time there were only 4-5 respected fernandes familia.

You know a friend of mine. Claims Fernandes bridge is named after his grandfather. They used to call him rubber fernandes. No joke.
That is a good one :). ! What is the name of the grandfather and who was he? Love to know that part of our history.
