India is too much dependent on monsoon for its need of water for farming.Situation in my state Gujarat,India is very bad. Rainfall is scanty. We are facing one of the worst drought in many years. Though fortunately due to good water conservation systems followed,drinking water may not be an issue.But farming will be worst hit.

In the US the corn belt in suffering its worst drought in many years. I see the same on the other side of the world in your picture. Pray for rain… -gfs
Daily prayers are not helping at the moment. Clouds come to deceive. Many farmers are committing suicide. Really bad situation.
We are having the same problem with no rain here in the Great Plains…US. Corn and wheat were devastated…
I can imagine! Ultimately,I think we as a humankind are responsible for this calamities as we have plundered mother nature too much.
