I really like your compositions, and this is no exception. But I love the sense of fragility in the figures here – it lends the scene a sweet melancholy.

Hi Sonali – this is very beautiful, calming and serene – I like it very much! The rather muted colours are the thing, and then there’s that strange boat – and the fading off to a blue distance is just right.

Compositionally its spot on – especially the shadowy reflections of the tree and the buildings that very usefully fill the bottom right corner. Good stuff – I could easily live with this on the wall! Adrian
